Accepted Answer

Very uncommon: This is most often due to interruption of the sympathetic nerve supply in infancy or before to one eye in someone whose genetic destiny is to have two brown eyes.  The eye without the nerve supply stay bluish and the normal side turns brown.  This does not affect the vision or health of the eye but can affect the lid position and pupil reactivity.

Sounds quite: lovely. Pigmentation changes. It isn't usually a sign of disease BUT if it were it would be a mineral pigment disease such as 
WILSON's DISEASE (copper, ring is copper colored)
or hemosiderosis (iron, ring is iron colored. but skin is steel colored... grey, more noticeable than eye).

Unknown: Eye color is determinedined by the amount of melanin, a brown pigment, in the iris.  As this is controlled by multiple genes, there is no way to know what color eyes your baby will have.

Depends: This is often a bacterial or viral process. The viral ones would self heal over time. Wiping away the debris with a wet earbud or cloth helps. I would call the kids doc for their guidance. Some will call in antibiotic drops for infants.

Possible: Pink eye without any yellow discharge most probably due to viral illness .This will resolve of it own in 3-4 days . If there is lot of watering  or itching and swelling of eyelids then it may be due to  allergy .Wait &amp;watch for a day for any improvement  ,otherwise consult your pediatrician .
