what do you suggest if my child was diagnosed with scabies. the doctor also did an ear scratching test, is this easy to treat?

Easy treatment: Scabies is treated with a topical scabicide treatment.  The medication is applied to the entire body from the neck down and left in place overnight and rinsed off in the morning.  Younger children may need face and neck treatment too.  All household members treated.  Linens washed in hot water. May need to repeat treatment.  Dr. Should advise best medication as age matters.

Not the usual site: Scabies can be anywhere on skin they like going into skin folds (waistline, axilla, breasts, between fingers, feet, wrists, knees,  elbows, buttocks &amp; genitalia. They aren't usually found on the face/scalp of adults. It would be more common to see scabies in scalp hair in children.

i have extremely itchy skin all over, it's worse at night and i'm sure it's scabies. also have an itchy scalp eyes and ears. too intense! please help?

Please see your Dr.: Please see a dermatologist as soon as possible.  Many different reasons for itchy skin all over.  Scabies is just one of them.  If this is scabies, a simple treatment with Permethrin cream applied today and in one week and following some instructions on what to do with clothing and bedding will help you get rid of this itch.  If it is not scabies, this itch needs to be evaluated further.

Unrelated: Your recent encounter with scabies and color change of the glans are not related. The change in color is not meaningful to your health.

: Scabies can be transmitted with using the same bed, towel, comb or any thing of personal use. It can cause intense itching then rash and blister. Hand should not transmit any other sexually transmitted diseases but if in doubt, testing is preferred over speculation. See your doctor for confirmation of scabies &amp; treatment. All beddings, shoes which can not be washed, put sealed bags for 6 weeks

what is an effective way to treat your vehicle for scabies/head lice?

General cleaning: With lice, only areas where the head has touched are at risk. Would wipe the area down and vacuum it. 
With scabies it is spread to the environment with direct skin contact. It is unlikely to be an issue in your car. Would recommend general cleaning to the areas as well with wipe down and vacuum. Extreme cleaning in either case is not necessary or indicated.

Infected scabies : Sorry your question is not clear . Yes scabies  can get infected . New pimples would probably be a different thing , Irrespective of that antibiotics would be needed .

Yes, BUT: yes, but if one does in fact have scabies, the proper tx and use of permethrin is to applying from neck to toes over the entire body for 24 hrs...the pi's say 12 hrs, but 24 hrs is more effective and tends to prevent recurrences. FYI....one of the most classic locations of scabies is the head of the penis, but treatment should cover all of the body, etc as stated above.
