No: Prostate problems cannot be relieved by enemas.  I would recommend that you consult with a local urologist.

Sounds Normal: That level sounds normal to me. Typically a value "near the upper limits of normal" is not dangerous. Saline enema's should be used appropriately and are relatively safe if indicated. Please always stay hydrated to avoid dehydration with any self enema use.

Why using : Enemas? You should be eating enough fruits and veggies that you should not need enemas. Water enemas are not safe and can alter your electrolytes. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) , store brand, is a safe laxative to use that will not harm you if taken for a long time. It works by softening and bulking the stool. Best!

Yes: It really depends why you are doing an enema.  If you have been advised to do a fleets enema in preparation for a procedure, it would be best to follow that recommendation. If you are taking a daily or periodic enema to aid bowel function, then tap water may be adequate.  In theory, warm water relaxes the bowel, so a warm water enema may be less effective than a room or tap temperature enema.

See your doctor: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person.  He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

Lots. call MD now: Could be anything from appendicitis to diverticulitis to ovarian or other gyn issues including tubal pregnancy to ureteral stone or other. Call your doc  now.
