Should be examined: Rashes are difficult to describe in words. Spots may be an eczema rash, allergic reaction (usually itchy), irritant or chemical reaction (work chemicals, cosmetics,...), infection (tinea, ringworm,...), or a disorder under the skin. Various causes: There are many skin lesions that can present like this including a fungal infection, drug reaction, psoriasis, lichenoid dermatitis, granuloma annulare, dermatofibroma/scar, sarcoidosis or other granulomatous dermatitis, autoimmune disease,  vascular lesions, various tumors (benign or malignant), among others.  I would recommend having it evaluated by a dermatologist.

Exam!: In order to properly diagnose &amp; treat your condition you should be examined at a medical clinic. A biopsy of the lesion may be ordered by the examining physician. Although the lesion could be benign, skin cancer or an infectious process should be checked for. The sooner you are properly examined and treated the better. I wish you well with your health!

Since there are many different causes of skin lesions and reasons why they do not heal, a short term trial of this plant that has shown some healing potential is certainly reasonable.  Do not eat it.
