i have a history of asthma and usually this time of year it flares up with my allergies. im out of refills for my inhaler and advair, would healthtap be a good fit?

Yes, but: what kind of asthma medications you are on, it also seems that you are on nasal medications too, Frequent nasal irrigation and adherence to your treatment medications plan are important, it also helps if you can apply a mask while outdoors. Ultimately you need to be evaluated by an allergist/immunologist,if you haven't done so a;ready for possible allergy shots (specific immunotherapy), good luck

See an allergist: Nasal sprays may help. Inhalers can be effective for a reactive airway. Oral medications can be of some aid. But these  are all of limited assistance. If you really love your cat see an allergist who can review treatment options with you like allergy shots.

when not to take an allergy pills / inhalers before an allergist appointment?

Check with your doc: Antihistamines will interfere with skin testing and some last longer than others.  There are other drugs which can also interfere with skin testing.  Your allergist will have a list of these.  Most would not advise skipping asthma inhalers except for very specific circumstances.

Side effects, yes!: Good morning,                                 yes, there are side effects from use of inhalers; repeated use in excess could be dangerous. Avoid allergens, if possible. Preventive steroid inhalers needs to be added. Talk to your doctor for review.

can pregnant women 20weeks take becotide    (corticosteroid) inhaler for allergy?

Probably: Although there has been  no proof that inhaled steroid is harmful for the fetus, budesonide is the only one considered category B for pregnancy.  At 20 weeks, most if not all of the fetus' organs are fully formed and thus it is doubtful that much can affect its development. Regardless , losing asthma control poses a much higher risk for both the mother and the baby. Ask for budesonide if worried.

Asthma: Sounds like you might be dealing with poorly controlled asthma that is not being properly treated. See a specialist, like an Allergist or Pulmonologist, in order to get a more detailed workup and evaluation to determine severity of asthma/breathing problems. Might need more potent daily controller therapy.
