Antibodies: Your antibodies, like so many other naturally occuring chemicals in the body are affected with smoking.  That is why tobacco is a poison to the body and decreases the immune response aka antibody response.

No: there is no way to hasten nicotine metabolism or the excretion of either nicotine or cotonine (which is what is usually tested for - the main nicotine metabolite).  It depends on the specific test which is going to be used. Oral swabs generally remain positive for up to 3 days, so it is possible that you will have a positive test, but I think it is unlikely.  Sounds like it would taste awful to me

Try Nicotine Gum: After 3-5 days since one's last use of nicotine, there is no more in the body. Drinking more fluids can help it flush out faster. I encourage some my patients to try switching from cigarettes to nicorette (nicotine gum) gum- 4 mg and the uncoated mint. One chews it different from real gum so read the insert. Once a smoker gets used to the gum and over the cigarettes, the gum is tapered and discontinued.

Go see your doc: Otc remedies: nicoderm patches (at costco), nicorette gum, electronic cig.  

Doc's solution:  chantix, wellbutrin (bupropion).  Set a stop date, and monitor closely.

Action in brain: Nicotine causes activation of senstive areas of the brain which then releases Dopamine , thus causing a pleasureable effect and reinforcer of a action. This is basis of addiction maintenance of a hedonic ( feel good) state. Other data shows that genes may be passed on that confer increased susceptibilty to its action.

SERIOUS STUFF: Symptoms of a nicotine overdose can include: headache, vomiting, agitation, rapid respiration or respiratory arrest, muscle twitching, drooling, fainting, tachycardia followed by bradycardia, increased blood pressure followed by drop in blood pressure, seizures & coma.
