More info needed: Thanks for your question! Gonorrhea is generally confined to the genital area, but I have seen cases where it spreads to different parts of the body.  Only once have a seen a case where someone had gonorrhea in the throat (this was initial presentation).  Most likely it is from unprotected intercourse.

Get tested: It is not feasible to say. If you partner has gonorrhea, you are at high risk. You are also at risk for other STDs. It would be prudent to see a doctor for an examination and required tests.

Gonorrhea: Is  not only transmitted via vaginal intercourse. Gonorrhea can be transmitted when you have anal, vaginal or oral sex.

Unknown: Only way to know is to get tested, but i would highly recommend testing for all std's, via blood and cultures.

Wait a week: Gonorrhea can be treated very quickly if the right antibiotic is used.  I would wait a week or so.   More importantly, you should make sure you don't get reinfected.  Checke with your doctor in a few months and undergo repeat testing to make sure you haven't gotten reinfected.

Yes: Yes, for gonorrhea and chlamydia but for other sexually transmitted disease as hiv, hepatitis b and c  a repeat test in 6 moths is recommended.

See below: If your only sex partner does not have gonorrhea, you do not have it either.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Too late to know: Most likely you weren&#x27;t infected. However, it is possible you were and the aztirhomycin cured it. It&#x27;s a little soon for the test to become negative, but possible. Unfortunately, no test can detect past gonorrhea, so no way to know for sure. But it really doesn&#x27;t matter. If you don&#x27;t have it now, it won&#x27;t show up later. You can move on without worry. In the future, test before being treated.

Sure: That's like asking, "Is it possible to catch the flu if my coworker sneezed while we rode the bus?" First, the other person has to have the disease because you can't catch something from nothing. Beyond that, it's possible to catch the germ and then it's possible for the germ to replicate and cause the disease, but there is no way to guess the likelihood or chances or it actually happening.
