Maybe/not: Your description is too vague to speculate a cause. Skin/hair issues usually require a visual exam for proper assessment. If it bothers you have the kid seen. Scalp ringworm requires prescription meds.

Ring worm : Ringworm usually is not a dangerous rash, it is a fungal rash. I hope you mean a rash. There are worms that get into the skin of the foot which need to be removed. Fungal rashes return due to contamination of infected shoes. See a doctor

i have a big red spot covering my armpit that looks like its irritated.  but it doesnt look like most ringworm spots. what do i do??

Show it to a doctor: A rash in the armpit could be one of several things. I would be most concerned about an abscess or a localized infection (say from shaving)-esp. if it's PAINFUL. If it's more flat and non painful it could be ringworm, a contact allergy (deodorant?), or a more mild infection called folliculitis among other things. If you have any underlying medical problems, that may help the doc to figure it out.

i had a c-section in sep 2010, i have big black-red icthy patches on my buttocks and in my upper thigh area  & is now spreading, shaped like ringworm.

my daughter has what looks like athletes foot / ringworm. a pharmacist prescribed ketazol on saturday. it still looks bad with blisters and her foot is red around the big toe. i have pictures. not sure if she needs antibiotics. we holiday berg ?

Possible athletes  : If athletes foot is present the medication the pharmacist recommended should work. Can take up to a month of applying the medication daily. If no response in two weeks seek another medical opinion.
