Nicotine: I don't think there is an answer for this. The "i did not inhale" does not usually mean there was no nicotine exposure. So, I am not sure what the test will detect, but i would be prepared for it to be positive.

I would also suggest a neck massage to relieve some of the stress in the muscles of the neck. If you have shortness of breadth or cough get checked. You may want to evaluate what is causing the stress so you could ease off by meditation.

Many odors come from the tongue, so consider using a tongue scraper to help clean the tongue.

Q: i have been having to heart palpitations that make me cough ill lose breath for a second and after i cough ill be back to normal. i don't smoke drink?

Most likely: Premature atrial or ventricular contractions which are common but could also be arrhythmia ...May want to discuss with your physician if troublesome.

: If CT scan of the lungs are normal, the clear phlegm could be from post nasal drainage with rhinosinusitis rather than pulmonary tuberculosis, especially you do not cough. Gastric reflux can cause clear phlegm but cough is the major symptom.

Might be: Chronic dry mouth can be of neurological or endocrine (glandular) origin. It could lead to breath issues as well. If you aren't taking any meds, many of which have this as a side effect, a visit to your primary care provider could be helpful to figure out the dry mouth. One thing that can help bad breath for many is to add brushing the top of your tongue to your oral hygiene regimen.

Milk &amp; dairy: products can trigger heartburn in some people. Food  triggers may include chocolate, corn, fried foods, 
dairy, fatty food, potato chips, creamy or oily dressings, marbled sirloin, high fat bakery items, raw onions, tomatoes, potatoes, spearmint, &amp; peppermint. Orange, cranberry or grapefruit juice &amp; lemons or lemonade can be problematic.

Confusing question: Babies depend on their open nasal passages to breathe normally. If baby must stop feeding to do some breathing or seems to work harder to breathe during feedings, she needs her nose cleaned of any mucous or irritant debris. Dust, smoke & fragrances, make it hard for babies & saline nose rinse is your best rx. I don't know of any babies that drink during sleep, but many sound bad if congested.

Second hand smoke: May not cause immediate problem if you don't have the sensitivity to it like asthma or allergic rhinitis. You are inhaling the particles that include nicotine and it causes high bp, constriction of arteries, deposition of cholesterol and addiction to it. You are also inhaling tar which can eventually cause cancer, emphysema. So please be careful with 2nd hand smoke.
