Rash: with what you describe is sounds like folliculitis or inflammation/infection of the hair follicles.  Do you shave these areas? Get the diagnosis: There are many types and causes of skin rashes.  Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

Multiple possibility: Multiple conditions like folliculitis, pseudomonal folliculitis, acne, miliaria, among others can create lesions like these.

?Folliculitis: This sounds like folliculitis (inflammation of the hair follicle). Staph can cause it. But there are other things that can cause a folliculitis. You should have the contents of one of these "whiteheads" cultured to be sure it is staph before you accept an antibiotic. And if you shave your bikini area it could be you are spreading the problem. So, stop shaving for now, get treatment and new razors.

have a quarter size red, severely itchy spot w/ whitehead on my ankle. i had 1 previously on my calf & treated it as 
ringworm. when i itch it seems to gets swollen.

You have to : Try your best not to itch , this makes the problem worse. You can be spreading fungus or bacteria when you scratch as your nails are burrowing into the skin. If you feel it's ringworm then that would be a fungus so apply an antifungal agent rub with finger tips don't scratch with nails.

Allergic rash: It sounds like it is an allergic reaction. You dont say whether or not it is itchy. Give certrizine or loratidine 2 tsp once daily for 5 days. This should relieve the rash.

A rash that looks worrisome, lasts more than a few days, or keeps recurring should be examined by a primary care doctor or a dermatologist. A doctor can start treatment, or he can do additional testing if the diagnosis is uncertain. Face rashes include acne, allergic reactions, rosacea, seborrhea, etc.. Sometimes, internal disease can cause a face rash.
