large bump (size of kidney bean cut in half long ways, inch of red area surrounding) on my upper thigh that's painful to touch & w/ movement. had it for 5 days and it is getting bigger. it was all red, now it has 2 spots; 1 brown/black, 1 lighter red?

: Hard to evaluate without actually seeing it but it sounds like a small abscess . Apply warm compresses and if it gets bigger, seek medical attention (not an emergency or suggestive of anything serious).

stool issue stool issue (20m, 200mg sertraline, no medical history of note except past kidney stones) i had a chicken wrap for dinner tonight, with tomatoes, pepper and red onion (about 4 hours ago), and just defecated, the stool had mucus in it?

: What you ate 4hrs ago will not come out in stool unless you have diarrhea. Occ. mucus can occur in stool without any major problem. I think you will be OK

hi, is it a concern to have undigested kidney bean skin/red pepper skin in poo 2 days after eating them? also pregnant and constipated so no bowel movement yesterday?

: The skin of certain foods are not digested so it is not unusual to see them in your stools 2-3 days after eating them. If you are having difficulty with constipation during pregnancy, reach out to your obstetrics doctor for the best treatment. Best of luck for a healthy pregnancy!

saw black bean-like thing in stool. did not have beans , only red beans , since maybe 3 days ago , why did i see something like this now?

It may surprise you: and others to learn that the time it takes for food to pass from being eaten to being eliminated is about 50 hours (over 2 days!). The average time just in the large intestine is 40 hours, longer for women.  So I suspect you saw one of your red beans, but transformed by passage through the bowel, now appearing black. Stay well:)

i have strange color orange almost red color stools. i eat black beans three times daily in my meal preps. have been eating the meals with black beans for almost 6 months. is this a concern?

are bright red bloody stools that cleared up after 3 days a concern?  lower back pain started at about the same time.  clean colonoscopy 2  years ago.

You might get more: Than one medical recommendation on this one. Because it was apparently associated with back pain - i would recommend having it checked out.  This is because, I am not making the assumption that it was due to constipation, hemorrhoids, fissure, abraided tissue etc.

You need: To see a GI doctor or colorectal surgeon, sooner rather than later before it becomes a life threatening emergency! this does not seem like something you should wait on for a few days to "see if it gets better". If necessary go to the nearest emergency room! take this situation very seriously.
