Depends how long?: If you've just noticed it now, and it's not hurting, and just red spot, make sure your doctor watches it. If it's spreading, painful, and you keep touching it, or related to possible dust orbacteria from phone use, or a recent viral cold, and no discharge, try using lubricating saline drops (without perservative).Then, have your eye doctor examine you fully. It could be just irritated capillaries.

Ask her doctor: Viral meningitis presents with headache, sometimes sensitivity to light or sound, nausea, vomiting, fever, stiff neck, malaise, sometimes mental changes and the spinal fluid shows findings which are not compatible with bacterial meningitis. Your mom should get better fairly quickly and be back to full health soon, but if you have questions, ask her doctor.

Dryness is possible: A common cause of redness and irritation with contacts is dryness.  Other issues are contact lens overwear and improper management.  Are you removing the lens each night?  Are you rinsing it well after cleaning before insertion?   Check with the initial fitter of the lens to see if some changes need be made.

Several things: Retinal detachment rarely causes a red eye or pain.  There are a number of things that could cause your symptoms including an internal inflammation termed uveitis.  You should quickly make an appointment with an ophthalmologist as some of the possibilities are serious and vision threatening.

See ophthalmologist: The eye probably has a small hemorrhage in the sclera which will go away in time.  The problem is that this is less likely since you are symptomatic.  Do  not fool with the eye.  Vision is precious and you will do yourself a favor by being seen and making sure this is nothing more severe.  Go over to the eye center on mohammed ali.  They should be still open. Call first.

May not be related.: There are many types and causes of skin rashes that could cause itching.  Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

i get allergy on my whole body. swelling on buts. lips. head skin. small red spots. i use zyrtec (cetirizine) , fexit and after time its gone. but again happens.

Leave them alone.: Your description suggests that irritation from frequent pulling the area is the cause. If you stop touching the area, it will likely recover by itself in a week or two. But if problem persists, you should consult your doctor.
