Could be foliculitis: There are hair follicles almost everywhere on the skin.  These follicles can become inflamed or infected.  Be sure to follow up with  you doctor as antibiotics may be necessary.

Folliculitis: If you exercise a lot and wear tight clothing while you were doing so you may have this problem. It is an inflammation of the hair follicle. It can be treated by an over the counter benzoyl peroxide wash. If it does not work see your family physician or dermatologist.

see your doctor: It sounds like an infection anytime you have pus coming out.  You may also be contagious especially if it turns out to be a sexually transmitted disease.  Your doctor can make the diagnosis, check your labs and recommend treatment.  Try not to pick at it and cause it to spread.

Heat : Heat rash (miliaria rubra) occurs when your sweat glands become blocked and sweat is trapped under the skin.  This can cause a red rash that can either look like little blisters or larger red lumps.  It can be itchy or "prickly" which is why many people refer to it as prickly heat.  Even though it can be annoying, the good news is that it usually resolves on its own.  You can help by preventing sweating such as staying in a cool environment, wear lightweight clothing of breathable material (like cotton), and limiting physical activity in the heat.  Calamine lotion can help with the itch.  Good luck!

Rash in newborn: ETN is not likely the cause (usually in first few days to 2 wks).  Neonatal acne is common and generally starts around 3 weeks of age.  Yes, neonatal acne can cover the areas mentioned.  Another common rash to be considered is seborrheic dermatitis - this rash will typically have flaky patches as well.  No treatment for acne, severe seborrhea may be tx with low dose steroid (ask your pediatrician)
