blisters on heels ripped off, skin raw. been using antibiotic ointment but "new" skin is yellow & has pus. red around edges. infected?  urgent care?

As long as it's open: &amp; not anymore than an uncovered blister, it will heal. Keep it clean, wash (scrub) it 3-4 times a day. That will get the crud off the top, may not feel good but unroofing it is good. Then if available to you cover with Silvadine cream, if not an antibiotic ointment. You want to keep it clean &amp; not let it crust over. Keeping it covered with a band aid will keep it moist.

Several causes: for what you describe: Generally yeast thrive in hot, sweaty areas, and heat rash/milia can also occur there, however they do not form blisters. If the area has hair  you may have folliculitis, an infection of the hair follicles, or you may have a bacterial infection of the skin (staph and strep can cause blisters), or possibly herpes virus.  Best to see a doctor- they can take a culture if needed

Also, if you have periods of mouth dryness (certain medications,mouth breathing), that may leave your inner cheeks rough.Best to avoid anything like that for a while and see what happens.If still the same, see a dentist or a doctor

" sounds" like: like you have  oral HSV1 ( common cold sores). You should be  examined and have viral cultures taken. Diagnosis requires  direct observation and testing.

A few days: What you're seeing is your body's immune response. It should go away in 4-5 days. If it lasts longer or gets worse it could be the start of an infection. It's best to leave the area alone and only cover it if its in an area that gets rubbed.
