Depends: If the misscarriage is in the first trimester and you have not had any medical treatment, you usually bleed for about two weeks, but sometimes up to four. Usually longer: Typical miscarriage bleeding usually lasts longer than a few minutes except in some cases of a chemical pregnancy. That is when you have a weakly positive pregnancy test and then have a slightly late and heavy period.  Then a subsequent pregnancy test becomes negative after your "late period" or chemical pregnancy.

Yes: If you have delayed period, do a pregnancy test. If it is positive, please see a doctor. Miscarriages called medically a missed abortion can be diagnosed on ultrasound. They may not be associated with bleeding or pain or any symptoms.

Yes or NO: It is expected to have some bleeding 1-2 weeks but if you continue to bleed beyond that time frame, its better to see an Obstetrician.
