Rash: The rash you describe may not necessarily be related to your other complaints, each one can be dealt with individually based on symptom control. The rash sounds like a fungal infection,need to be seen for a diagnosis, it's localization could be a drug reaction but unlikely to loratadine.  Flatulence could be diet related. A visit to you PCP is required, for best care resolve issues promptly

This depends on the: This depends on the   type of rash and its  cause. Certain rashes will resolve without any pigmentation and others  will leave  pigmentation.  It depends  on the depth of the rash and what  other skin structures are  involved. You need to get a  diagnosis form your physicians

?Atopic dermatitis: Without examining your son it is not possible to be sure.  However, could he have atopic dermatitis and is getting pigment loss at the sites of his rash?  This can happen in atopic patients.  I would suggest you see a consultant in dermatology to be sure.
