Many things: Folliculitis, contact dermatitis (to clothes or antiperspirant); bacterial, viral or fungal infection, hyperhidrosis (sweating too much), on and on.  If it is bothersome, see your doctor for a definitive diagnosis.

Armpit rash: You're on the right track. Your armpit rash is probably not yeast, which occurs mainly under the breast creases, abdominal creases, or genital area, but by any one of a dozen common skin fungus. It is most likely to be a fungal infection. It should respond to the same cream as used for yeast, e.g., otc Clotrimazole cream 1% should do fine.

If a lump hurts, it may be infected and would need antibiotics or need to be cut open by a doctor, depending on how it looks. Lumps deeper in the armpit may be enlarged lymph nodes. The ER can help if one's doctor is not available.
