Common: It is common to continue to have breast milk especially if there is any stimulation of your breasts ( hot showers, partner who fondles, etc.). This does not necessarily mean that you are or aren't pregnant. It also does not explain the pain and nausea. For that you need to see your doctor. Hope this helps.

: When it comes to nausea with a questionable etiology, some people find it beneficial to keep a written journal of everything they eat or drink, including the date and time. Also, write down the date/time/duration of the nausea. That way, when you see a physician to get a medical opinion they have a lot of information to work with.

Probably ge reflux: Usual cause of these symptoms is gastroesophageal reflux.Signs and symptoms of gerd include acid reflux and heartburn.Diet change decreased total fat intake, avoid large meals, alcohol, acidy food, chocolate, etc. Sometimes dairy products such as yogurt and milk help; otc meds are available. If symptoms become severe, see physician for exam and recommendations.

Not necessarily: Because the protein can be difficult to break down. Consider ginger. Probably the simplest way to reduce nausea is with ginger. You can drink slightly flattened ginger ale or nibble on crystallized ginger. Or pour boiling water over freshly sliced organic ginger ; steep x 5 min in a covered pot. Sip.

Maybe : It is theoretically possible that NuvaRing could be the cause. Not very likely though as the hormone dose with NuvaRing is very low. You could remove it anytime and switch to condoms for awhile to see if the symptoms resolve. If they don't look for other causes.
