Hard to say: Most local health departments keep track of the local rabies activity monitored by state labs. Domesticated pets are seldom a risk, but if there is rabies in the region and the cat can get outside, exposure can occur.If properly vaccinated, risk would be low. So there are specific points of missing information that limit my response. Infection/tetanus is a primary risk.You should call your doc.

Rabies: Only very, very rarely can rabies show up after this amount of time. Usually, it's less than 3 months. If you watched the cat, and it didn't show signs of rabies, you are fine. Otherwise, I'd contact your health department, or your doctor, and find out their recommendations.

Fortunately: you are well beyond the infectious period from an animal bite you received 8 months ago. Rabies immune globulin after bite exposure is very rarely given after 3 months. It sounds like what you should consider is the 4 dose series of rabies vaccine to help prevent rabies should you unfortunately be bitten again by an infected animal. Good wishes:)
