Needs evaluation!: There are a few causes of spontaneous breast enlargement: pregnancy (!), puberty, or an imbalance of sex hormones called gynecomastia, cancer. I think your hormones are out of whack. The associated pain is concerning, and the fact that you have pain when you breathe suggests involvement of the lung or lung lining/pleura.
