Small spots: This could be from trauma from intercourse or it could be small capillaries that are dilated. This is a very common finding.  The labia is skin, remember, and a number of other dermatologic conditions can also occur there.

What you describes certainly sounds like a blood blister.  When blood is exposed to air then it appears darker.  This is why the spot looks purple then begins to lighten.  Yes, it seems from your excellent description that it is healing quite normally.

See a doctor: It's likely a benign nevus (mole) but pre-cancer and cancer can occur on the labia. It's always better to be safe than sorry, so i would recommend you see a doctor and have it checked out.  You're only 20, so chances are slim, but melanoma is increasingly occuring in younger and younger women. Be safe.

Quite possibly: It is a reasonable guess, but I suggest you consult a dermatologist to rule out other conditions.  I see angiokeratomas fairly often but in much older women.
