See a urologist: Sometimes men can have spasms of the prostate leading to great pain. It is called prostadynia. It is hard to treat. Start by seeing a urologist for a thorough check up, especially withy our history of an enlarged prostate.

Ovulation: A cyst would develop on one of the ovaries as you approach ovulation. At the time of ovulation that cyst will rupture.  The process can result in the symptoms you describe.

Pulsating: One of the causes of a pulsating feeling in the back is an aneurysm of the abdominal aorta-the largest artery in the body. For peace of mind, I recommend an examination by a physician to check for an aneurysm which is easily detected by an ultrasound of the abdomen.

Aorta: The arteries(aorta)carry the pulse wave from the heart. If they aren't pulsing, chances are you're dead. If you're dead you don't have to do anything. If your aorta is pulsing normally, you don't have to do anything. If you're anxious let your doctor check your pulsing aorta but unless its abnormally enlarged, there is unlikely to be a problem.
