mom has lupus.i have rosy cheeks and nose sometimes and am a bit photosensitive(i have fair skin). no other symptoms.should i worry?(i have psoriasis)

Concerns about lupus: While lupus is a disease that has genetic factors,  lupus does not directly affect all children. There may be other explanations for your checks being rosy. Try to eat well, sleep enough and exercise. If you continue to be concerned, please see your doctor for further evaluation.

i've been using elocon cream on very small parts of face to treat psoriasis for 7 years. would this cause my face shape to change or my collagen to loosen and make my skin look older? i've only been using it near nose and eyebrow?

: Continued use of any steroid  cream can lead to some atrophy of the area being treated. There are other non-steroid creams to treat psoriasis. See a dermatologist for evaluation of this rash { it might be seborrheic dermatitis } and seek treatment with a non steroid cream.

i am male 24..i have psoriasis from 5 years...its on my ear,moustache,chin,nose and head.i consulted many doc but still not treated what should i do ?

A dermatologist: Well indeed some of these diseases have overlapping symptoms. I suggest you see a dermatologist and they should be able to guide you and give you a proper dermatologist. If in doubt, a skin biopsy can confirm it, but it is rarely required.

Depending on the severity of the psoriasis in general, and scalp psoriasis in particular, a dermatologist may use topical steroids and/or systemic therapy with medications such a Methotrexate or newer generation of medications generally referred as "biologics.".

Dermatologist: Consult a dermatologist for best treatment of scalp psoriasis.  Because hair gets in the way of many treatments, I would skip self treatment with over the counter products and get expert professional care. I had one patient whose scalp psoriasis never returned 
 after a rigorous treatment regimen, but this was exceptional as there is felt to be no permanent cure.  New systemic treatment is availab

YES: Psoriasis cause is unknown, most often localized  on the scalp, elbows, knees, etc.  Eczema like  contact dermatitis can set in the face if allergic to some cream.

You don't: Psoriasis cannot be cured. If you stop your meds, the skin condition will invarably flare.
