Not early for water: Bottled water, but early for prune juice, if he is breastfed he is likely to be constipated, try to measure his temperature re tally, that at times stimulates the rectum and let them pass stools, good luck

Prune juice: Prune juice may work just as well.  If you don't find relief then you can go roth over the counter.  Make sure you drink plenty of water and walk around

Most likely none: If your daughter has issues with constipation, it will not benefit her if you drink it.  You can try pumping and mixing in a small amount of prune juice and bottle feeding her that.

Constipated: Chronic constipation can be difficult to treat. If you have not been evaluated with x-rays and possibly colonoscopy, then you need to see your doctor for further evaluation. Many times if anatomically things are normal it requires dietary changes, such as getting plenty of fiber intake as well as drinking plenty of water daily. Laxatives are one of the worst things that you can take for this problem.

Daily prune juice OK: Should be perfectly safe and natural. Also advise to keep well hydrated with lots of water. Eat plenty of fruit (apples with peel, strawberries, rasberries) &amp; high fiber vegetables (Dark colored, Brussel sprouts, Swiss chard, collard greens, broccoli &amp; also carrots. Limit dairy, especially cheese.

Constipation : Prune  juise actually is good for constipation,  try to stay regular by eating high fiber diet, plenty of fluids,  cut down on apple, bananas,  tea. About the loose stool you got , it happened  because  part of the stools become fermented &amp; loose &amp; it usually comes out after hard stool. So stay regular  &amp;  be well . Good luck.
