Other possibilities include overactive bladder and a condition called interstial cystitis. Certain drugs can cause such symptoms. Keep working with your doctor. Consider asking for referral to a urologist.

i have irritation at the urethral opening after sex for a few days. i have seen a small red line it appears right inside the urethral opening. i have no discharge, no painful urination, or pelvic pain. using 4 bactrim for 30 days 4 poss. prostatitis?

: If you are not sure about your sex partner and chance of STD exposure may occur, you still need to be tested for STD. If not at risk, you can just observe that symptom for now. Remember to have good fluid intake when taking bactrim (probably 2 single strength tablets, twice a day) with this long course.

Well: without appropriate history, physical, and lab tests can not say if it is infected or not. 
however, there is something known as  nocturnal emission, or wet dreams which is relatively common.

Discharge: Clear, watery discharge is normal ; occurs intermittently during the menstrual cycle . It may ^ after exercise. Clear/stretchy discharge occurs w ovulation. If you have a change in color, texture, odor or amount of vaginal discharge ; problems such as pain, itching burning with urination or sex or redness/swelling  then it is best to see your gynecologist for evaluation ; accurate assessment.
