Yes: The simple answer is yes, if you are having a regular cycle it is actually likely you are ovulating. If your cycles are irregular that is another issue, but even women with irregular cycles will occasionally ovulate so if you are avoiding pregnancy you need to use protection. Don't know if you did this, but should see Gyn to see about change in cycle.

Usually light: Yaz typically causes very short and light periods. If you are not happy with your current level of cycle control you can consider a different pill or consider a different birth control option.

You : You need to see your gynecologist. This is not normal and can mean a variety of things. You could have uterine fibroids (benign tumors of the uterus), endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the uterine wall) pregnancy also needs to be ruled out. If you recently started or changed birth control that could be a factor. You need to see your doctor for a complete history and physical, and diagnostic testing (pap smear if due, possibly pelvic ultrasound, and/or endometrial biopsy).

Common : Anyone having intercourse without birth control or condoms may get pregnant. If intercourse was within 72 hours you consider taking plan b. Ella (ulipristal acetate) is another brand that can be used up to 5 days after unprotected intercourse. Plan b is a high dose of birth control to disrupt the hormonal patterns to delay or prevent ovulation. Abnormal bleeding after is common. Check  preg test in 10 days.

Unprotected sex?: It sounds  less likely, but this is still unprotected intercourse. If you are trying to avoid pregnancy this is still a risk, even if it is a small one. there is NO absolutely safe time for unprotected sex if you want to be certain of not getting pregnant. Good wishes.

Yes: Being sick, under stress, changes in diet, or exercise can all affect the length and flow of menstrual cycle.  Keep a log of bleeding, if cycle continues to be prolonged after a few months, there may be another cause and an obgyn should evaluate it
