See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, CRP is not diagnostic of any disease. It is a measure of the presence of inflammation. Even by conservative standards, your CRP level is not a cause for concern. You do need to see an eye doctor of the proper care.

See a Doctor: It is a little hard to know exactly where you pain is from the description.  However, significant (horrible) eye pain should be evaluated by a Physician as soon as possible.

No effect: Tears supplement the natural tears and relieve symptoms related to this.  They have no effect on tear production and will not change the physiological pattern for which tear supplementation is needed.  So continue to use tears as needed.

No: The lacrimal &amp; salivary glands are innervated &amp; stimulated to secrete by cholinergic neurons, ie they use the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (ACh). In medicalese we say that TCAs reversibly combine with &amp; competitively inhibit the postsynaptic muscarinic ACh receptor. Simply put, they block the effect of ACh on the glands. Dry eyes &amp; mouth are called "anticholinergic side effects."

a soft lump appeared on my eyelid a few days ago. i have no pain. and i believe it is on my lacrimal gland. it is my normal skin tone. any ideas?

Chalazion: This is a chalazion, more commonly known as a stye. It is a fluid filled pouch. My best remedy is warm tea bag compresses, the phytanic acid in the tea will draw out the fluid. Try the soaks 30 minutes 4 times daily. I hope this helps.

Not Likely: Probably Meibomian glands, not Lacrimal. This is located up away from ther lid margin, under the upper lid.  Sounds like clogged meibomian glans.  Try warm compresses and massage to open the glands
