See below: Petadolex contains the herb Butterbur, and is used to prevent migraine headaches. The literature suggests it is fairly effective for this indication. From what I can discern, Petadolex and Petadolex Pro Active are the same.

Proactive does work: it doesn't work for everyone but it does work for some people but if all of the over the counter stuff doesn't seem to be helping.  go see your pcp, they can give you some creams/gels to use that might be able to help her.  you can also try bentonite clay w/raw apple cider vinegar, I have heard that works pretty good too.  good luck

It : It is possible that you have folliculitis or possibly impetigo which are common on the upper lip and around the nose.  Treatment would typically be a topical antibiotic cream/ointment twice daily.  Perhaps try polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) over the counter and see if that helps.  If not, i would recommend you get evaluated by your doctor so appropriate treatment can be given.  I hope that helps!

Actually : Actually one of the best resources for over the counter "mixing" is your the pharmacist in your drug store. They know tons about otc supplements that doctors don't deal with.

Biotin (found in eggs) is a great hair and nail supplement. Black currant oil (capsules) have been recommended for thinning hair, too.

But show your pharmacist both boxes with the supplement amounts and see if he/she notices any potential overdosing.
