Not the best test: The thickness of the endometrium (in a study) did not predict the outcome of pregnancy.  The best odds of conception are with intercourse 1-2 days before ovulation.  A surge of the hormone lh occurs about 1 day before ovulation.  Commercial kits to measure the lh surge are available at drug stores and are accurate.

Yes: If products of conception (poc) have passed, no longer pregnant. Thin endometrium normal after this.

Yes and no: It can scar the uterus making implantation more difficult but may not be the reason for a thin lining or not being able to conceive.

Miscarriage risk: Miscarriage risk is actually more likely for two reasons. The first, genetic issues are the most likely number one reason for miscarriage. Secondly, you are getting pregnant so closely after the first that you have not had time to replace nutritional deficits that were used up in the first pregnancy loss, like red blood cells.

Not a problem: At this point, your lining should not be a problem.  At 5 months gestation, you are on your way and far removed from a chance of miscarriage.   Pregnancy losses at this time occur for different reasons.

Endometrium length: The length of the endometrium changes with every menstrual cycle based upon the amount of hormone stimulation that occurs. Estrogen is the hormone pre ovulation and progesterone is added post ovulation. Unless the ultrasound saw follicular "collapse" then that is only speculation regarding your case.

Maybe: It is possible that your dates are a little off so the measurements could reflect a pregnancy of a slightly earlier gestational age. The important thing will be your next ultrasound which hopefully you can have done in 10-14 days.
