Not typical: one sided arm pain is not typically associated with pregnancy. Because this is a unique, atypical presentation then a one on one evaluation is warranted. Start with your Obgyn who can then arrange any appropriate referrals.

See doctor: You will need a personal assessment to find out the cause and institute the appropriate treatment.  I'd doubt that this is related to your pregnancy but you do need to see a doctor if this has been bothering you for more than a couple of days or is getting worse.

Herniated disc: Coughing increases pressure in the spine and if there is an underlying  compression of a nerve or the spinal cord itself, pain can be produced.  Best to be examined and perhaps have an MRI of the neck perfored.

If you are experiencing any combination of these, please see a Dr for evaluation as any delay could result in severe problems.

Dead arm: Stingers, cervical radicular pain, or thoracic outlet compression symptoms will vary with amout of compression and energy of the injury. Usually a few minutes to an hour. Anything longer should raise a red flag.

Need more info: How bad is it? Is the pain on the surface at the rib or deep in the chest?  Does it come and go or change with coughing? Does it move? Does it radiate anywhere else?  What makes it worse? Activity?  Eating?  Breathing? Did you injure yourself? Is it improving or worsening or the same.Other symptoms? Fevers? Chills? If worsening or a/w shortness of breath see an md. If severe call 911.

Many things: This could be due to many things including originating in the neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand. It could also be muscular, bony, tendonus, or neurologic in nature. See an orthopedist for evaluation to see what is causing your pain.

Many Possibilities: Although you are young, we can't forget that left arm pain can be referred from other places such as the heart, cervical spine, etc.  There certainly are many other possibilities such as referred shoulder pain, but if you haven't seen a physician i would recommend starting with your regular doctor first to narrow the possibilities.
