The  little pieces: Of tissue should not cause a false negative  pregnancy test.  Have you missed a period because classic pregnancy symptoms don't begin until after you actually missed your period. If you use a standard home pregnancy test before missing your period - the HCG levels might not be high enough to trigger a + . An early pregnancy test  can pick up on pregnancy earlier. You may be starting your  period.

Abortion: After an abortion or miscarriage you will continue to have some bleeding and cramping.  These symptoms should go away 4-6 weeks following the event.  Let your body rest and take antiinflammatory medication as needed.  If you experience any heavy bleeding, fevers, painful urination, or vomiting, see your doctor immediately.

No: The cervical blood vessels can be very near the surface. They are more engorged with blood and become more fragile due to the pregnancy and increased estrogen. The cervix always seems more "touchy" and cramps during pregnancy. All of this is normal. But you should be checked to make sure there is no other cause for your bleeding.
