Unlikely, but could: Rubbing alcohol kills over 99% of bacteria and other organisms. So, though it may not contaminate the bottle, i would presume it did. When using any bottled medicine, pour it into a cup, or on a cotton ball, and then clean the area. By the way, if there is even the tinest break in the skin, alcohol will cause severe burning sensation.

How do you know?: This is not likely. Do you have any really good evidence that this might be the trigger? Do you take any meds? See a dermatologist. Do not smoke. Avoid XS alcohol. You might benefit from clobetasol gel.

Also, it doesn't matter, because life's rules don't change... meaning a couple would do a home pregnancy test if worried anyway (do it 3 weeks after sexual activity). In general, we think about sperm getting to an egg only if the penis was inside the vagina, without contraception of some kind.
