Possibly: Anytime that a woman has postmenopausal bleeding she should be evaluated by her doctor.  Bleeding after menopause is usually not dangerous but is the most common presenting sign of uterine cancer.  This needs to be ruled out.  Hope this helps.

Mild for week: Once your iud is removed, expect light bleeding or spotting for up to a week afterward.
Heavy bleeding is not normal following iud removal, and may indicate complications.

True: Low thyroid function can indeed affect the menstrual cycle in women leading to lack of ovulation, insufficient hormone production from the ovary and lighter or missed menstrual periods. Most hormones affect each other in a myriad of ways.

Talk to MD: If you are bleeding more than a heavy period, you need to let your doctor's office know. It is unusual to have profuse bleeding after a pap smear. Many women have some spotting or light bleeding.  If have int? Means have intercourse, i would not recommend it. Whatever is bleeding on the cervix may be aggravated by intercourse.

Bleeding.: No. If you are postmenopausal and having bleeding, you need to see your doctor and have an evaluation - some combination of biopsy, ultrasound, or hysteroscopy.

Gyn exam is a must: Vaginal bleeding is abnormal in post menopausal females and should be addressed ASAP.  Gyn exam is a must!  Blood in the urine may originate from the vagina, which in close proximity to female urethra. Alternatively hematuria ( blood in the urine) could be real and indeed coming from the urinary tract ( kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra).  You will need a gyn exam to further specify.
