Pain, : PCS affects bout 15% of patients after gallbladder surgery.  It is due to   continuously increased bile flow into the upper GI tract.  Most common symptoms are pain, diarrhea, nausea and bloating specially after eating dairy products or fatty meals.

Ask the doctor: who ordered the study to review the results with you and the doctor should discuss the report with the radiologist who dictated their finding if the finding is not clear. In general, this may just describe the region of the right side of the liver near the gallbladder.

: Dumping syndrome occurs when the contents of the stomach are emptied into the small intestines too0 rapidly' eg after partial stomach removal and not after GB removal. For your symptoms pl see a GI doc. In the meantime eat smaller meals several times a day. Good luck

Size: I know of no relation between lynch syndrome affecting the colon and the gallbladder. Gallbladder polyps are not a "sudden" condition. Small gallbladder polyps are observed & likely only represent cholesterolosis of the lining of the gallbladder. Gallbladder polyps of greater than 1 cm can be resolved with laparoscopic gallbladder surgery.

Dumping syndrome: Not quite the same. Gallbladder pain is usually in the right upper quadrant, right under your ribcage. Dumping is more of a generalized abdominal cramping, plus cold sweats, heart palpitations, maybe diarrhea.

Yes: The gall bkadder emuksifies fat loads and reduces dumping, so this to be expected. How to adjust ? Less saturated and total fat in diet overall, more leaner meats such as poultry and fish instead of red meat, eat more grass fed beef if eating beef. See a nutritionist to fine tune !

: Retroartic left renal vein is rare, but means the left renal vein lies behind the aorta, which compresses the left renal vein leading to backup, higher venous pressure, and can cause frequent bloody urine, and "nutcracker syndrome" which is a description of increased aortic compression of the renal vein, much like a blood pressure cuff when measuring blood pressure.

No. But first..: First I am not sure that there is a true condition of "habba syndrome" as a cause of chronic diarrhea from gallbladder dysfunction. But once the gallbladder is removed then this supposed "syndrome" cannot occur. Chronic diarrhea after gallbladder surgery can occur. Sometimes Questran (cholestyramine) medication helps. See your doctor or a gsstroenterologust for an evaluation. Avoid fatty greasy foods.

is it possible for you to have habba syndrome if your gall bladder has been removed?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Gall bladder removal does not treat habba syndrome and does not affect the symptoms of habba syndrome. The primary symptom is diarrhea following eating and thus avoiding eating in order to prevent the diarrhea. This is such a non-specific symptom other problems should be ruled out such as inflammatory bowel disease or infectious colitis.
