Rhogam shots: "Rhogam" is immune globulin given to Rh negative women after a pregnancy.  The Rhogam shot is in fact Rh positive antibodies, and if the "antibody screen" is done soon after a Rhogam , a "positive antibody screen" will result.  This does not mean the individual is in fact "Rh positive", and is only the result of the Rhogam shot.

I assume Rh?: If you are rh negative and your partner is rh positive then you are trying to make antibodies against your baby.  This is somewhat dose dependent so if you had a prior child, abortion, or miscarrige you are sensitized.  Normally, after delivery, get medication to kill any rh positive cells in your body.
So the major risk is if you had a prior pregnancy and did not get the medication.

my b12 is at 114 as if 02/2021. my parietal cell antibody screen was 49.3 2 days ago. the range given for the antibody was >25 is high/positive. is 49.3 the same as being positive at 27 or 28 or is 49.3 more concerning? what am i positive for? thanks?

: You are deficient in B12 and may have stomach atrophy/pernicious anemia. Whatever else you need to take vitamin B12, preferably by injection, at the earliest before you develop neuropathy and/or anemia.

Probably have Lyme!: I don't know where to find such a list as I am not sure the causes of a false positive are known, but, esp. If the western blot did not include the 34 ; 39 bands i would not rely upon it; please do the igenex western blot, which is much more sensitive ; specific for lyme. Even if that is negative 20-30% with lyme can have a negative WB test. Other tests may be indicated. See http://bit.Ly/1aaqjgc.

how concerning is it if your hgb drops .6 g/dl in 2 months from 13.7 to 13.1? my parietal cell antibody screen came back positive. rdw is high at 14.7 hct is barely normal at 39.3. appreciate any specific thoughts on these results. thanks?

: Results are consistent with Pernicious Anemia (vitamin B12 deficiency). See a Hematologist

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the data you provided is not diagnostic.

Rh factors: If your "shot" after your ectopic pregnancy was Rh immune globulin , which in Rh negative women is protective against problems from Rh disease in future pregnancies, the chance of a problem with this pregnancy is minimal.  If you have had other pregnancies prior to your ectopic without Rh immune globulin given,  continued testing is appropriate.
