i'm currently bulking because i started gym.and my poop is light brown and watery like cream paste and not all the time its watery sometime its normal?

It's Okay: You've changed your diet, you are eating more. Let your gut do its thing. Probably you are drinking more dairy (lactose intolerance) or you are eating more protein. Whichever it is, your new diet is causing adaptation of your bacteria in your gut and just keep up the good work building muscle.

Can be: Breast fed kids can go every feed or once a week.A bottom rash is common & may or may not be related. Some kids do react to bovine products in their mom's diet, so a week off all dairy could help you decide if it's an issue. Same with the egg.

Several causes: By paste do you mean soft , is normal.

If you mean white soft bm's you may have liver problems or a malabsorption problem, for which a GI doc will help.

Possibly yeast: But  yeast usually does not have an odor or has a mild smell. It is usually white - old blood could tinge &amp; cause it to look brown. Please let your parents know so that this can be checked by your doctor. Take care.

Red stool: Shalom,given what you ate, there is no question that it is the tomatoes and NPOT blood. Beets can also do this to your stool.

my 10 week old baby has a poo every 4-6days and when she goes she really struggles and cries as if shes in a lot of pain. also her poo is dark green in color and paste texture. is this normal? should i be concerned? she is mostly formula fed.

: Dark green bile is the main color agent of poop. Time &amp; action of gut bacteria would eventually change it through lighter greens/yellows/browns. Young infants have flabby/weak belly muscles &amp; often must use their breathing/fussing muscle to push digestion along/poop. They are not necessarily in pain. Some struggle more than others. It usually fades as the muscles strengthen.

Suggest...: If your bm looks like toothpaste then it must be thin and white?  If you had oral contrast for an x-ray recently that might explain the white color.  Blood in the stool is clearly not normal either.  I would suggest you see your doctor with these symptoms to find an explanation.  Good luck!

Laxative: It's best not to rely on frequent laxative use, but instead follow a program of adequate water intake and intake of good fiber foods and or supplements like metamucil. Flat stools are not unusual with bowel irregularity and mushy stools are the result of laxatives. If you have further concerns, consult a gastroenterologist for evaluation and advice about a bowel management program.

: Yes, if you take more than is required for regular bowel movement.
You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.
