Some thoughts...: Many women have occasional variation of their mucus discharge, some spotting between periods, a heavier period, a lighter period, a longer or shorter period, or even a missed period.  Having one or two of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical problem, but a call to one’s primary care or Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome.

Late.: If you have been having unprotected sex check a pregnancy test.  If not then just wait this out.  Periods are often irregular at your age.

Only before period: Both PMS and pmdd are limited to the week or so before the period. Pmdd is specifically significant depression. Pms can be moodiness, bloating, breast tenderness and other hormone-related symptoms. If your symptoms persist beyond the week before your period, you should get them checked out.

See your doc: If your period is more than two weeks late and you are having painful cramping, it is time to see your doctor. These symptoms could indicate pregnancy, an infection, or another medical issue.

Hormonal imbalance: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

Bad period: If your pregnancy tests are negative, unlikely to be miscarriage unless you were positive before and now negative.  It sounds like you get period cramps so is most likely that.  PMS is something else.  you may have dysmenorrhea, not PMS.

U need an evauation : By your gyn with an exam, cultures, blood work and an ultrasound and the pms can be treated with meds, u most likely have a hormonal problem that can be corrected but it could be due to additional problems.
