Not yet: Give it a few days. A viral intestinal tract infection or mild food poisoning will resolve on their own. Eat a soft, bland diet with no harsh roughage and drink adequate fluids. Use kaopectate or Imodium as needed. If symptoms persist or worsen a stool culture to check for pathogens is recommended.

What's the cause?: Not a weird question at all!  "plugging up" diarrhea will not cure an infection, fix an inflammatory process, improve an ischemic gut, or correct a functional issue.  Medical evaluation is recommended appropriate to the duration of your symptoms, associations (bleeding, weight loss, pain, vomiting), as well as your other medical co-morbidities.  Call your doctor please and get checked.

Common signs of ovulation are cramping, back pain, vaginal discharge/mucus, spotting, breast tenderness/soreness, changing hormones, and increased body temperature.  Some women's colons are more sensitive to fluctuating hormones, and it is possible.  Use brat diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) and imodium (loperamide). : Pleurisy is diagnosed clinically by the history of typical pleuritic chest pain on inspiration. A chest X-Ray or CT scan can show pleural thickening or pleural fluid accumulation to go along with the typical chest distress.  Analysis of this chest fluid gives clues to the cause of the pleurisy. Biopsy of the thickened pleura reveals.the type of pathology also. TB or cancer are examples.

Unusual: Probably coincidental.  But toothache is an infection that required immediate treatment.  Don't wait, go now.

Possibly: Before colonscopy you took a prep to clean the colon, so you may be having the residual effects of that.  If it persists for more than 1 week call your provider.
