Possibly.: Emergency contraception symptoms can include spotting or bleeding, changes in menstrual flow or your period may be late or early.  Notify your gyn if your period is 7 or &gt; days late.

Probably: If you used a condom correctly (put it in right and used it the whole time) and used birth control  and you took plan b, the chance if you being pregnant is about (.15)x(.15)x(.15)=0.003 or 0.3 %. Now i'm not saying it's impossible, but very very unlikely. Hope all is well. Find a doc to start a more reliable (less anxiety provoking) long acting birth control. Look up iuds and subdermal implant.

Irregular bleeding: some irregular bleeding and breakthrough bleeding would be expected after taking plan B and starting birth control pills. Continue daily birth control pills. If bleeding persists see your doctor. Good luck.

Plan B ?'s: "Plan B" pills are essentially bcp's, but do not guarantee "100%" pregnancy protection.  If your home pregnancy tests were done at the time your period was due, and were negative, they may not be accurate.  Wait another week and obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy, which is accurate even with low levels of pregnancy hormone.

Probably not: Hopefully, the Plan B or the birth control pills are working, but it may be too soon to tell about pregnancy. A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a  withdrawal period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon.

Take a test: If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy. You started the shot so one would not expect regular periods.

No: I do not think so because you took Plan B early at 12 hours.Some pts have their period few days after Plan B t5hen having normal periods again , that may be your case. It is best to see doctor for serum pregnancy test so that you do not have to worry anymore.
