need to know how to get rid of an ankle rash.  i have 2 rashes on the same ankle.  one is prickly looking, and the other is more of a blob. i have pic?

Send me a pic: I would be happy to take a look at pictures.  Many skin rashes can look alike but most are treatable with topical medications.  It depends on the rash which topical is best.  I also have an office in prosper, tx if you would like me to look at it in person.

See your Doctor: If you do not know how it happened and rash/blister worsen, see your doctor.  Try a corticosteriod cream over area.

suffered from severe sciatica for 2 weeks, extreme leg and foot pain, foot pins and needles, my foot sole still feels like "sleeping" i developed a itchy rash with blisters along my foot where the most pain was, could it be contributed to xtreme pain?

Might be related: Skin pain can be from one of several possible causes. A doctor's exam is needed (primary care doctor or dermatologist). A person with shingles can have burning pain of the skin where the rash breaks out. Sometimes nerve irritation (anywhere along the nerve from the spine to the skin surface) can cause pain sensations in the lower back, thigh, or elsewhere. An in-person or video exam is helpful.

Rash: Rashes can be caused by a wide variety of things.  I would suspect tinea - or athlete's foot .   Your podiatrist can help with this even if it isn't tinea.

Hand Foot ; Mouth : This could be many problems, including a cold or the flu.  But it could also be hand, foot ; mouth disease which causes rashes in each location and causes low appetite and fatigue.  The rash in the mouth is inside on the cheeks and looks like knitted lace.  It is caused by a virus and is highly contagious but usually has no lasting symptoms.  Hydration is key and a visit to the doctor is important.

Heat : Heat rash (miliaria rubra) occurs when your sweat glands become blocked and sweat is trapped under the skin.  This can cause a red rash that can either look like little blisters or larger red lumps.  It can be itchy or "prickly" which is why many people refer to it as prickly heat.  Even though it can be annoying, the good news is that it usually resolves on its own.  You can help by preventing sweating such as staying in a cool environment, wear lightweight clothing of breathable material (like cotton), and limiting physical activity in the heat.  Calamine lotion can help with the itch.  Good luck!

syphillis, psoriasis, tinea pedis, lichen planus, acanthosis nigricans, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, impetigo, shingles, etc.  Hope that helps.
