Probably so: It is probably dried blood or a blocked minor salivary gland with blood inside it. 
If it does not resolve completely in 2-3 weeks-see you local ENT or dentist to take a look.

i have "pimples" on my breasts. dark red in color and pushed - blood comes out. flatten after popping and kinda leaves mark. should i be worried?

Doctor can check: Skin lesions (bumps, pimples, etc...) that pop with some blood, and leave a scar mark, should be checked by a primary care doctor or a dermatologist. A dermatologist can tell whether the lesions are a serious problem or not. Rashes are very hard to describe in words. A diagnosis needs a visual examination.

Skin lesion: Any lesion on the skin that has increased in size or changed in appearance should be evaluated by your doctor.  If it has changed it should be removed.

Probably a pimple: If it looks like a pimple, that&#x27;s probably what it is. However, if you remain uncertain show it to your doctor. In the meantime, don&#x27;t mess with it:  no squeezing, poking, etc, which would make it harder for your doctor to diagnose.

Other symptoms?: Keep it clean and put some bacitracin on it.  Then, if you have pain, spreading redness or warmth, or a fever, see your doc or go to the ER.  If you have no symptoms other than a slight soreness of the popped zit,if is no big deal.  Getting better acne treatment is MUCH better than getting pimples, especially if you cannot resist popping them, which can increase scarring. Acne is very treatable.

Need to examine: Depending on your ancestry, you may be prone to developing hypertrophic scar or keloid. If it does not subside in a week or so, you may wish to see your doctor for an in person evaluation. In the mean time leave it alone and do not try any home remedies.
