Anxiety?: From what you describe, it doesn't sound like a herpes infection.  If it were, by the way, popping it would just make it spread more.  When in doubt, it would be better to just leave it alone or seek a professional evaluation and advice	reatment.

See an aesthetician: These are very common and may be somewhat hormonal as well.  I would recommend seeing a medical aesthetician for a good skin evaluation and facial.  From there they can advise on topicals for daily home use that will help prevent this.

Pimple: Warm compresses to aid in its own natural healing. Popping it will only make it more red and angry and also risk spreading the bacteria of the pimple. You can also dry it a bit by blotting gently with an alcohol pad.

Classic cold sore: A tiny blister or cluster of blisters that is tingling or numb right at the edge of the lip is classic for cold sores.  It will go away after a few days.   If getting worse you will want to see a doctor.

It could be cyst: Please consult a dermatologist, it sounds like a sebaceous cyst.  It could be easily excised.  it will not go away by itself.

No easy fix: Put a hot compress on it if you are able, for as long as is convenient. Try not to pop it until this happens on its own.
