Possibly infectious: An urgent visit to a dermatologist, infectious disease specialist or to a nearby emergency dept would facilitate a rapid diagnosis since the liquid from the skin lesions might contain an infectious virus or bacterium.  An accurate diagnosis can enable effective treatment for your son.

Nonspecific: If the pain is in the skin and at the location of the redness, it sounds like a big bite, or scratch. If not, really need more info about the pain. You could always make an appointment to see a primary care provider if it persists or gets worse. Hope this helps!

Hives: Very unlikely it was due to the cranberry juice because of the timing of the reaction and the fact that you had never had it before.  This is likely due to a contact reaction to something that made contact with your skin.  Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or other OTC antihistamines should help.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. If the symptoms persist for more than 3 weeks, or get worse, it would be prudent to see a doctor in-person.

what causes a red rash to come and go on neck chest and lower ab itches unreal. my chest and abdomen are separate bumps i scratch so much they end up looking like tiny holes.. my neck is a large solid patch it starts out like the rest. 5 years now?

Yes: By your description it does sound like Guttate Psoriasis.  The flakes tend to be more greasy rather than dry. Itching however is not a prominent feature.  Another possibility is Seborrheic Dermatitis  He should see his doctor for a more definitive diagnosis

Internet Diagnosis?: The picture is small and the red patch even smaller and honestly is not big or clear enough to tell you what we think with any degree of certainty. Median rhomboid glossitis, a growth or something else? Pure guesses!  was it always there or recently formed? You will need to see your general dentist, oral surgeon, pcp or ENT specialist for a definitive diagnosis.
