: yes. But if you are sexually active pl take precautions like BC pills, condom etc. Also pl get HPV vaccine. You are too young to get a VD or get pregnant. wishing you good luck and health.

: Please have at least one pregnancy test done with an early morning urine sample. Even if conception does happen she should not have any symptom yet and most of the time a missed period is the first symptom. However, it is not uncommon for a late or skipped period.

No, if you have: Had your period since the last time you had sexual intercourse then you aren't pregnant. Any time when in doubt - take a pregnancy test. They are inexpensive, accurate ; easy to use. The standard home test can be done when you think you might have missed a period (i know that is strange to say since you have irregular periods). Take care.

Not always pregnant: Pregnancy is the most common cause of a missed period. If not pregnant, other causes of a late or missed period include:  excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (especially birth control pills), hormonal disorders, etc…  A visit to one’s Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome.

Can I be pregnant: Not if she had a period of normal duration.  Having periods means one is not pregnant.

Needs evaluation: If you have never in your life had a period and are above age 15 you need to be evaluated for something called primary amenorrhea. This is very important. If you have had periods in the past but not now you should still be evaluated for secondary amenorrhea to determine the cause.

The best time to take one is when you miss your period.
