Mittleschmerz: Some women feel pain at the time of ovulation. This is called mittleschmerz. It is very normal and resolves qucikly. If you feel your pain is lasting longer or might be something else schedule a visit for evaluation

Watch it: yes, it could happen. avoid caffeine. and use warm compress. it should resolve after your period starts. if not, talk to your doctor

Pain: It could have been a bladder spasm or ovulation pain (mittelschmerz)

Not likely: If you had protected sex it's not terribly likely; and 4 days after ovulation tells you nothing about pregnancy, it's too early. If you are late on your period of course, a pregnancy test should be done. Good wishes

How soon.: There are some home pregnancy tests that report to be effective as 6 days into a pregnancy. So that would be around 9/24 or so. But, it might be smart to simply wait until your next period is due. That way you will not have the anxiety (and expense) of multiple tests and wondering if you're having false negative tests. Good luck.

Cramps and menses: Im afraid we don't know anything about you and the likely hood you could be pregnant. It may be too early to tell. The best way to determine pregnancy at this early stage is by pregnancy test. The home test may not be sensitive enough to detect a small hormonal elevation in early gestation and you may need to see your doctor for a blood test.
