Common: It can be common to have some breakthrough bleeding.  Most commonly due to stress, weight changes, hormone changes, thyroid.  If it continues &gt; 3 months, I would see a gynecologist to discuss options.  Make sure to eat healthy, get plenty of rest and be at a healthy weight.

Not necessarily: Coming early one month does not mean it will come late the next month.  Most women have regular periods and can tell when their period should arrive, however their are many who also have irregular cycles, often varying by days. See your ob/gyn if need be, as birth control pills can often regulate your cycle if need be. Best wishes.

Not to worry: Periods can naturally change up or down 2-3 days and still be normal. An evaluation may be needed if intervals between your period get very short (less than 24 days) or very long (greater than 42 days). Medical conditions may be responsible for this, but not in the case of only 2 days. Do not worry.

Schedule a visit.
