R/O prostatitis!: Prostate infections can elicit a dischage.  But remember, if a male is aroused frquently, a natural discharge can occur.

Follow-up: This may be chlamydia or trichomonas or both; chlamydia heals slower on macrolide and trichomonas will require a different rx. I also hope that you are not eating any of those little hot peppers, they can give you a urethritis without any infection.

i have a penile discharge but when i was tested for stds they came back negative. i am starting to lose hair too. what could be the issue?

NGU: You DO have an STD. Almost every penile discharge is an STD, especially at your age. You probably have nongonococcal urethtirs (NGU). Being tested for STDs probably means gonorrhea and chlamydia tests, but half of all NGU isn't due to these. You still need treatment with antibiotic, and so do your sex partner(s). Hair loss is an entirely separate problem.

is hsv test at 12 weeks conclusive ? i had negative at 12 weeks for all std panel including hsv , but have clear penile discharge since 2 months so , im little worried?

: Penile discharge for 2 months requires in person evaluation with a physician’s’s to check for causes of infection and STDs

: No there is nothing like 'physiologic' discharge' from the penis. If it persists suggest see a Urologist at an academic med.center. You might need further evaluation. Good luck

Need more info: You could have trichomoniasis or another non-gonococcal or non-specific urethritis such as ureaplasma. I assume you have been evaluated for gonorrhea and chlamydia. I would recommend returning to the doctor for further testing and abstain from sexual contact until properly diagnosed and  treated.

Urologist eval: Best to have an evaluation by a urologist.  This could be several things such as amorphous sediment to non-bacterial urethritis.  A cystoscopy is not out of the question either.

Nothing: Almost all penile discharge is due to an STD, usually gonorrhea, chlamydia, or nongonococcal urethritis. NGU is sometimes mistaken for a non-STD problem because no standard STD shows up on testing. But you only get it from sex. You and your sex partner(s) need treatment. Don't screw around with this; get care promptly.
