i'm starting a second iui cycle. i have ~325 units left in an unexpired gonal f (follitropin alfa) pen. is it as effective to use the remainder of that medication?

can you get herpes from cheek kisses? my grandma whos hsv1 positive has it and would give me cheek kisses last year. also i had a pen sore shaped inside my hard palate that lasted a day or 2 and disappeared randomly w/o medication, was it from her?

: getting it this way is rare. Best is to have check you out if you think you had a lesion.

how to deal with arm/hand nerve pain flare ups if cold and heat both make it worse..other than pain medications. it gets shaky/ weak and my pinky becomes purple/blue. it gets to the point i can't even hold a pen?

: The color change you describe usually indicates a circulatory issue, possibly Raynaud’s phenomenon (spasm of blood vessel- usually happens with cold exposure) , though there may also be a neurological issue.  A full evaluation of the nerves &amp; vessels of the arm &amp; hand is important.  A calcium channel blocker medication can often help Raynaud’s symptoms

can a pen shaped sore thats located in back of the throat be herpes? bc i had that, i couldnt get it looked at bc how fast it disappeared, lasted me a day or 2 without medication. this was my first outbreak. got herpes from cheek kisses?

: If the throat sore was the only symptom, probably it was not herpes. First oral infections with HSV usually cause multiple sores in the mouth, not one; and cannot heal in less than a week or so, often up to 2-3 weeks. And catching herpes from a brief cheek kiss is very unlikely.

i took one hit of a weed pen and i have a drug test on the 27th day will i pass it was a little hit i barley got high just a little bud off it?

: It is likely that you will pass your drug test. Generally, it takes up to three weeks for THC To be gradually  Eliminated from the body, perhap a little longer if you were a heavy user and less if you were not. Good luck.

is pen vk 500 mg ok to take if allergic to sulfa drugs?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Pencillin is a complete different class of drug than sulfa drugs.  There is no clinically relevant cross-reactivity.

if i smoke a hookah pen with no marijuana, no weed, nothing, just the normal hookah with flavor, will it come out in a drug test?

Accepted Answer

Risk Mgmt: Drug tests detect drug - not flavored water. But, and this is possible - it that tubing and mouthpiece was recently used for smoking a controlled substance, it might be enough to trip the alarm in the test. If it matters a lot to pass, refrain till after the test. If not - you're good!

why am i depressed while on medication?

Approaching: depression wi multiple modalities is best. There are many
things you can do for depression.  Don't isolate. Spend time w people. Use your support system. Get out. Don’t stagnate at home. Work to get 8 hours or &gt; of sleep per night &amp; eat healthfully. Daily aerobic physical activity is a big +.  Recommend the “Feeling Good Book" by Dr. David Burns. Don't just read it - DO IT!
