: The list of medications that interact with Paxil is extremely long.  Also, some medications on that list may still be okay to take in combination with Paxil under a doctor’s careful management.  Ask your pharmacist for a list of medications that interact with Paxil and discuss all medications and supplements with your doctor.

i'm getting very anxious where i can't stop pacing and very upset i'm going though a stressful trial is 5mg valium good to take as needed?

Prescribed?: If your doctor has prescribed this medicine to be taken on an "as needed" basis, then you can take it that way.  It may relax you some during your trial.  Generally one could dose this 2-3 times per day -- but follow your doctor's instructions, and remember that it has a fairly long half-life and can build up in your system.  No alcohol when using this.

i have been on paxil (paroxetine) twice before. now is my 3rd time. 4 weeks in, i can't see a difference like before. has my system got used to it?

Perhaps Call yr doc: There is fairly good data that if one sri (the family of medications that Paxil (paroxetine) is in) doesn't work, another member of that family may help (prozac, zoloft, celexa). In : In my opinion weight loss is 80%diet, 20%exercise. It sounds like you are pretty active, therefore the diet must be the reason you are not losing. You may think you are eating "pretty healthy" but i guarantee you there is probably a lot of room for improvement. Ask your doctor to refer you to a certified dietician. The dietician will go over what and how you eat, and help you make the appropriate changes. Once you begin doing this you should see the weight come off. Surgery should be your last option, ; really focus on the diet and maintaining a consistent relationship with a dietician. Good luck! don't give up.

Blur: The most common cause of this type of symptom is dry eye. Associated with this is a probable decrease in the blink reflex which can occur with prolonged near vision,reading,computer use etc. Try using lubricating drops. If no help see an ophthalmologist.

Alternatives: Please discuss with your doctor the feasibility of using and alternative anti-depressant.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

i started taking a higher dose of paxil (paroxetine) and now i can't ejaculate. why does this happens, and what can be done about it ?

A stated side effect: Paxil (paroxetine) belongs to a class of medication called selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor (ssri) which has side effect of delayed ejaculation, and at times anorgasmia (can't climax) which is more common in female. There isn't much for treating this besides lowering the dose or stop it. Add of wellbutrin or periactin may help. Consult doc for re-eval. Good luck.
