Irregular periods: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections &amp; hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Spontaneous Ab: It is best to go to your OB as they can do ultrasound or depending on the age can do fetal doppler. There is a possibility of spontaneous abortion or miscarriage and has to be evaluated as this would also affect your own health.

Yes if pregnant: If you have conceived and you are now passing "clots like tissue", this could be a miscarriage. Have you had a positive pregnancy test? If a sensitive precnancy test (blood or urine) is positive you should follow up with your gyn.

Cycle changes: may be due to hormonal fluctuations, medical illness, stress ,tension, anxiety  or metabolic issues. If this is a new occurrence I suggest seeing your GYN for regulation of your cycle.

Possibly, but.....: Passing some clots after a tubal ligation may be normal, or may not be.  Call the gynecologist that performed the procedure.

Big clots: This requires you see your doctor for an examination.  You may be having a miscarriage or infection.  Call dr. Soon as possible.

Depends ...: You should contact your surgeon as only (s)he knows the size of your uterus, possible fibroids and any other factors that would affect your post-op course.  Ultimately it will depend on those factors and how heavy the bleeding is currently.  Please call your surgeon and speak with the nurse.

Miscarriage: If the bleeding is getting lighter, it will likely resolve over the next few days.  If it is as heavy or heavier than on Monday, you could have retained products of conception (meaning the miscarriage is not complete).  You would need to see your gynecologist to determine if this is the case, and to take care of it if it is.

Maybe: That amount of bleeding may or may not be normal but the general rule is that bleeding heavier than a pad an hour should be evaluated. If continuous that amount if bleeding should be evaluated promptly.

No: Most women your age having this complaint have benign problems, often manageable with hormonal therapy.

Ask the doctor, too, whether you have become anemic and whether oral iron replacement would be useful for you.
